Outdoor Time weather

On Today, enter your five-digit U.S. ZIP code to see the forecast for your area. Change or remove it using Change ZIP. This optional setting belongs to your account, not your school or students.

Open Hourly & weekly outlook to switch between the next 24 hours and up to seven days. Tap a day for its daytime and nighttime details. All times use the forecast location’s time zone. A dash means a measurement was not supplied.

Weather refreshes about every 10 minutes while Today is visible. Check the forecast’s update time and local alerts. “Looks promising” is only a basic forecast indicator—not permission to go outside. UV and air quality are not assessed; follow school guidance and check actual conditions. If weather is unavailable or outdated, use the National Weather Service link. Only your ZIP area’s approximate coordinates are sent for weather requests.

Getting started

Use the Today checklist when you first sign in. On a phone, tap More to open the complete menu.

  1. Sign in, then confirm your school name inside the workspace.
  2. Enter the email assigned to your account and your password.
  3. Complete two-step verification when prompted.
  4. Open Admin to check your profile, grade, classroom details, and theme.
  5. Open Planner and confirm the active school-year planbook.
Sign out when using a shared computer.

Today

See today’s Bible Focus, scheduled lessons, and personal tasks in one place.

  1. Select Quick Add to create a task.
  2. Check a task when finished.
  3. Select a scheduled lesson to edit it.

Planner

Create a planbook for each school year or class, giving it a clear name such as “K4 · 2026–2027.” Switch planbooks at the top of Planner, then use Week or Month view.

  1. Choose the school-year planbook, then select Add or an empty day.
  2. Enter the schedule, subject, recurrence, reminder, and formatted lesson details.
  3. Add standards or learning objectives. Files may be selected or dragged and dropped into the attachment area.
  4. Use Hide from shared plans for private entries or Lock this lesson to prevent dragging it to another date.
  5. Use the weekly rearrange and filter controls to focus the view or organize lessons. On a phone, tap a day in Week view to see its agenda. Open More planner tools for filters, imports, exports, printing, and review submission.
  6. Use Send for review, Export CSV, or Print / PDF when the week is ready.
Weekends and recorded closures show a no-school state. Confirm all dates with the official school calendar.

Import lessons from Excel

Owners and teachers can preview a supported Excel lesson plan before adding it to their own active planbook.

  1. Open Planner, confirm the correct school-year planbook, and select Import spreadsheet.
  2. Download the blank template if you are starting a new spreadsheet, then complete one supported lesson sheet without changing its name or headings.
  3. Choose the Excel workbook and the K5, 1st Grade, or combined Year Plan sheet.
  4. Select Analyze spreadsheet to review dates, subjects, lesson counts, and sample lessons.
  5. Clear any subjects you do not want, then select Add lessons to planner.
  6. Review the imported week. Use Undo this import immediately if the wrong planbook or grade was selected.
Existing matching lessons are skipped. Test with the owner account before importing the workbook into a teacher account.

Repeating lessons

Create routines once, then manage one occurrence or the full series.

  1. Create a lesson and choose a repeat schedule and ending date.
  2. To update every occurrence, open one lesson and select Apply changes to the entire repeating series before saving.
  3. To delete every occurrence, choose Delete entire series and read the confirmation.
  4. Leave the checkbox clear when editing one occurrence. Use the single-item Delete button to remove only that lesson.
Read the confirmation carefully. Complete-series deletion cannot be undone from the browser.

Curriculum Library

Use school-controlled master planbooks without changing the original curriculum.

  1. Administrators create a curriculum, choose its school year and version, and assign it to all teachers, a grade, or one teacher.
  2. Add master lessons with details, standards, and supporting files.
  3. Choose Shared template or Required curriculum, then publish it.
  4. Teachers open published lessons read-only and choose Copy to my planner. Add it once or schedule it on selected weekdays through an ending date, with the option to skip weekends and recorded no-school dates.
Only administrators can change published master lessons.

Plan Reviews

Teachers can submit a week of plans to a principal or designated reviewer.

  1. In Planner, open the week and select Send for review.
  2. Reviewers open Plan Reviews to read every lesson and add feedback.
  3. Select Approve or Request changes.
Administrators assign reviewers from User accounts.

Students

Maintain your private classroom roster, family contacts, notes, and progress.

  1. Add the student, grade or class, optional birthday, school-year ending date, and up to two parents or guardians with email and phone numbers.
  2. Check Today for birthdays coming within 30 days. Birthdays within one week are highlighted.
  3. Birthday markers also appear in the weekly and monthly planner without showing the birth year.
  4. Use Find a student or Class or grade to narrow the roster, then select Edit on a student card.
  5. Archive students who are no longer active.
Birthday information stays private to the teacher who owns the roster. Only enter information approved by your school.

AI Teaching Assistant

Create first drafts for activities, weekly plans, worksheets, and teacher messages.

  1. Choose the type of help and grade level.
  2. Enter a topic and helpful details.
  3. Review and copy the generated draft.
Always review accuracy, scripture references, and wording. Do not enter private student information.

Appointments

Track conferences, meetings, attendees, reminders, notes, and follow-up work.

  1. Choose an appointment type, start and end times, status, participants, and visibility.
  2. Add a room, virtual-meeting link, agenda, shared notes, private notes, recurrence, or Calendly booking link. Choose one or several named weekdays for repeating schedules. Open a repeated item to see its days and delete either one occurrence or the entire series.
  3. Use the status menu to confirm, complete, cancel, or record a no-show.
  4. Create a private calendar link and subscribe with Apple Calendar for automatic one-way updates. For Google Calendar, use a computer and follow the guided From URL setup. Choose lessons, appointments, or both.
  5. You can still export one appointment or the full upcoming schedule as an .ics file.
  6. Use Print schedule for a clean paper or PDF copy.
Treat the subscription address like a password. Regenerate or disable it if it is shared accidentally. Changes made in Apple or Google Calendar do not change the planner.

Notes

Save quick private notes or share useful information with the teaching team.

  1. Add a title, then type a note or choose Handwritten note to use Apple Pencil, another stylus, a mouse, or touch.
  2. Choose a paper color and visibility.
  3. Select Save note.

Site Vault

Store encrypted website addresses and sign-in details.

  1. Create or enter your separate vault password.
  2. Add a website, username, password, and optional notes.
  3. Unlock the vault again whenever the page or session requires it.
The vault password cannot be recovered. An administrator reset deletes the encrypted vault contents.

Resources

Keep classroom files, photos, worksheets, and trusted links together.

  1. Select a file, drag and drop one into the upload area, or add an outside link.
  2. Choose private or shared visibility.
  3. Open, download, or delete resources from the Library.

Messages

Post brief updates for the teaching team.

  1. Write the update in New message.
  2. Select Post message.
  3. Review the unread badge for new staff updates.
Do not use Messages for emergencies or sensitive student records.
!

Troubleshooting

Check these items before reporting missing information.

  1. Confirm the signed-in account and school workspace.
  2. Confirm the active school-year planbook.
  3. Clear search and status filters.
  4. Hard-refresh the browser after an update.
  5. Ask an administrator to confirm curriculum assignments and account status.
When reporting a problem, remove passwords, API keys, and student information from screenshots.

Admin or Account

Manage your classroom profile, Bible Focus, password, security, and personal appearance.

  1. Update your profile and today’s Bible Focus.
  2. Choose one of six personal themes. Owners and administrators can also apply a theme to the whole school. The school logo remains visible in Modern Monochrome.
  3. Enable two-step verification and securely store recovery codes.
  4. Administrators can manage users, assign one or multiple classes, school branding, AI access, and security resets.
  5. The owner can view the trial or subscription and open secure Stripe billing.

Schools & private workspaces

Every teacher or school trial receives a separate workspace. Shared resources, messages, branding, reviewers, and user accounts stay inside that workspace.

  1. Create an Individual Teacher or School trial from the sign-in page.
  2. School owners may add up to 12 active accounts on a School plan.
  3. Choose a theme and upload the school logo from Admin. Only members of that workspace see its name, logo, shared resources, and users.
  4. If an existing Individual Teacher joins a School plan, the school owner sends an invitation. The teacher accepts it, keeps the teacher role and planner work, and the Individual plan is stopped from renewing.
Billing, branding, and school information are private to each workspace.

Good security habits

Use a unique password, enable two-step verification, save recovery codes somewhere secure, sign out on shared devices, and never paste API keys or vault passwords into messages or screenshots.
